Crasher is the cinematic memoir of master party crasher Scott Weiss, whose fabled resume includes gaining access to the world's most exclusive parties and events. Audiences accompany Weiss, who documents his exploits using a hidden video camera, on several historic crashes and are given an unprecedented view of the "crash" and "Crash Culture" from Weiss's perspective. Crasher is an exploration of the mind and methods of Scott Weiss, arguably the most creative party crasher ever‚Äö offering personal insights into those "eureka moments" that enabled him to rub shoulders with the most glamorous people in the world.

It's also the story of filmmakers Larry Torro and Ron Magid, who saw an opportunity to literally break into Hollywood on Weiss's coattails.

Over twelve months, Magid and Torro documented Weiss's crashes‚Äö successes and failures alike. Using innovative means to circumvent security, Weiss attempted illicit admittance to what he called the "Grand slam of Crashes" of Hollywood's most exclusive events: the Emmy Awards, the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Grammy Awards and ultimately, the Academy Awards.

But the trio get much more than they bargained for. What began as the audacious story of two aspiring filmmakers who used the saga of their wannabe-actor friend literally breaking into Hollywood -- to break into Hollywood, ends as a cautionary tale about the perception of safety in post-911 America.
